Give Back Outdoors: Trail Care Day

$0.00

Join Multicultural Trail Network, Friends of Kananaskis, and Trans Canada Trail for a rewarding day helping care of Ford Knoll Trail in Kananaskis Country while learning how trails are cared for and protected.

Designed for BIPOC and newcomer adults ages 18–30, this beginner-friendly volunteer experience is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the trails we all enjoy. Working alongside Friends of Kananaskis staff in the beautiful you'll learn the basics of trail stewardship through hands-on activities such as brush clearing, light trail maintenance, and exploring how sustainable trails are built and maintained.

Throughout the day, you'll also learn about volunteer opportunities, outdoor leadership, and career pathways in the environmental and recreation sectors.

Whether you're looking to give back to your community, spend a day outdoors, meet new people, or explore careers in conservation, this event is a great way to connect with nature while making a lasting impact.

Thanks to the generous support of Trans Canada Trail, this event is completely free to attend. Participants will receive:
