Embark on a winter adventure at Confederation Park Golf Course with our introductory lesson to cross-country skiing! Our experienced instructors will guide you through the basics of cross-country skiing, from proper equipment fitting to essential techniques, ensuring a fun and safe experience for all skill levels. Whether you’re new to outdoor winter activities for an enthusiast looking to refine your skills, join us for an unforgettable introduction to the world of cross-country skiing.
Your registration fee will include gear rentals and a 3 hour cross-country skiing lesson.
Transportation will not be provided, however Confederation Park Golf Course is accessible via Calgary Transit buses (Route 105 Dalhousie Station or 38 Brentwood Station).
Please note this event is open to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and/or Persons of Colour), Newcomer and Refugee youth/young adults between the ages of 14-24 only.
We believe in making the outdoors accessible to everyone, and by providing equipment, winter gear and subsidized registration fees, we aim to ensure these aren’t barriers to participation.
