Fall Community Science Hike

$15.00

Join CPAWS & Multicultural Trail Network for a beginner-friendly hike at Mount Yamnuska. You will be introduced to local plants and animals and how to use the iNaturalist citizen science app to help you identify plants and animals, build your local eco-knowledge, and submit findings to scientists around the world.

Citizen or community science is when people help scientists by sharing observations of nature—like plants, animals, or fungi—so that together we can better understand and protect biodiversity.

No experience needed — just bring your curiosity and sense of adventure!
